About

Pamela at Austria

Hello! I’m Pamela presently a homemaker and staying at Navi Mumbai with my hubby.

My liking does varies with time and mood. I like creativity of the people be it anything. I enjoy outdoor activities, traveling, reading novels, cooking new recipes and always ready to explore nouveau exotic food. For me, be it cooking or embroidery or any other creativity demands love, care, attention, and patience by the doer and I think I have bit of those qualities thankfully. This site is a humble attempt to share my passion for things of creativity which I do from time to time.

Coming to Pamela’s corner, I never took any formal class for any of my hobbies. When any creative item catches my eyes I try to put my hand into the same. This varies from glass painting to embossing to embroidery or any other creativity.

The passion for thread and needle work started in my college age when I first learnt Crochet from my mom and made few doilies. Then after getting married being at Paris I had nothing much to kill my time other then learning French language and exploring Paris on my own. So, started with cross-stitch as time-pass. I have grown up seeing my mom doing lot of different types of stitching (embroidery) and knitting. But I was never imposed to take-up this art from my mom. Eventually, when and how I got inclined towards cross-stitch I also don’t remember exactly. Soon I came across a guy at Paris who was completely devoted in this line. Thanks to Francois Blondeau, who guided me from time to time. Today, what all I have done is with three people’s support – first my mom (for basics), second Santanu (moral support) and thirdly Francois (for guiding me in every possible way). I consider myself fortunate to treasure some of the work from my mom.

I appreciate your comments and emails and will try my best to be prompt in my reply. Sometimes it might not be possible to answer your queries/emails promptly, but I will always get back as soon as I can.

Thanks for browsing!
